Peel Inlet, WA, AU CA62 Mistral 95speed Koncept 6.2 reboxed tws 31 “one lump or two?” High water and a little lumpy at times for this Liptons flat water princess. The wind was strong enough to get and keep going with the 6.2 though I still manage to Gybe in the lulls🤪 I did most of the kms on the CA 62 and then tried some runs wth the mistral and tws- different but felt secure. I’ve been spoilt from all those weeks sailing at Albany😎. Lots of pinnas visiting today. Still, a good showing of locals with Barry, Mike, Rob, Joseph. Good to have a decent session at the home base.👍

Fangyland with Pas Iain and Michael. High tide and with some lumpy goodness. SSE breeze for the most part, so there were some excellent long runs to be had from one end of the paddock to the other. If there was downside, it was the tide was pretty high, so there was plenty of bumps along the way, but it did mean you could sail anywhere without concern for an unexpected visit from Mother Earth. After what seems like ages since I last sailed, I really enjoyed that!

Liptons with too many to mention.

Very high tide and gusty wind.

Plugged the Avi 5,5 into the 48 with 23@40/60.

Bugs has increased the twist so it was another test drive, Sail felt heaps better, but it was too choppy for me to get good numbers.

Well that was an OK winsurf, even though it didnt seem to be very windy at home. "The others" were out already sailing the

full length of the feeld, from east to west an back.  So got my bigger board, the f2 58SX-R, for the lulls, the 5.8ka kon sail for

gusts, with 45/23cm weed fin for stability,!!?   It worked most of the time.

I was getting my feet wet by about 2.15 and "The others" were heading for land,,, the wind had dropped but I got a few gusts

all the way up to boundry island and back but had a break about 3 as "The outhers" where packing up. I did say that wind will

be back, so on the water at 3.20 the wind was building and I was flying... but "The others" where leaving.???

I had some fun in the sun and salty spray, but lacking a bit of fitnes it was over sooner than wanted.!!

Decrepit, so glad you posted your tracks.  I was right behind you when you gybed to start the NM.  I sort of followed you for the first bit and then you took off straight downwind..I thought I'd never get back upwind if I followed so gave up but now I see what you were up to.

Flex yes I thought you were following, but then you weren't. But your were right, there's a PT Grey windshadow half way down, so it wasn't much of a NM and getting back took ages, especially when you stay in flatter shallower water. Interesting it's where I got my max speed, just before the windshadow starts. I new that patch was good, and thought of just sailing it, but couldn't be bothered with the tacks back.

Decrepit, I also had my peak speed through there. I started a naughty run from the cut through to there (thinking the naughty was a bit further) but my outhaul gave way about 100 meters in. I'll keep it in mind next time it's ssw-sse.
