Liptons Light Wind Test 2, after yesterdays slog on the 8.4m with a bit more wind I thought I'd be planing most of the time on the 7.0m WRONG. Human Perception is prone to error, and I couldnt get going in the same winds I was planing on the 8.4m yesterday, I was delusional thinking so.  Definitely needed more wind to get going with the 7.0m.  But I'm still over sailing with such big gear so those interested you'll find my Mauisails TR7 8.4m, with MS SRS 100% Carbon Race mast for sale on seabreeze, I want $300 for each as they are in really good nick, or $500 for both.

Novara Beach, WA, AU   jp 135  7.5m twin slingshot 76

Foil with Rob, Jake and Alby,

Jake was like a speeding bullet and Rob disappeared on a long run fully powered, wind was full with the 7.5m up but later backed off, think this coincided when the muppet man turned up Tongue out loved the whooping as you went passed AlbyLaughing

So much fun got some nice long runs and enjoyed the company.

Nice foil down at Novara, only got a couple of runds in as the wind strength dropped after I rigged.

Spent more time flying th=an chugging.

Jake was guiving a matser class of wizzing around and gybing.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU

fun in the sun with Joe. Supprised how much I enjoyed that. First run with my new Avalon 6m It looks the the good s but today only showed how light it felt , how easilly it rigged and rotated. and how good it looked. The wind never came in nor did it ever disapear so the groveling was never painfull.

Went for a splash here. I held the "on" down too long and turned my GPS off by mistake. I spent a couple of hours just plodding in beautiful water and enjoying the wildlife (dolphins especially playful today) and a really nice arvo to simply tune out.
