Green Island, QLD, AU  Wind 18-23 knots  Gear JP slalom 62 Evo 11 7m2 Tribal Delta 22 .Neap tides .

Fun day on the island with Bennie Mac /Toody /Peter Clifford  & Reuben .

Nice neap Tides but too much East in the wind today when the water was higher so chopped up then as per usual wind drops 5 knots as the water flattens out .

Didnt push too hard today -observed the fatigue signals & got off the water when my hands started to really hurt ...

2021 JP was super comfortable ,looks nice & should be a beast in stronger winds .

Happy ...!!!CoolLaughing

Green Island, QLD, AU  Out with Dr Cam, Binny, Toody & Peter Clifford.

Got a bit excited after yesterday's session & today's early forecast!  Decided to take over the Isonic 90lt board & small gear (yes B1, hard to believe I know, but just the one board Smile).

Wind shifted towards the East not too long after getting out on the water along with dark clouds rolling through...  Then we were skunked shortly after midday.

Wind direction all wrong for the speed run- my 2sec was on a Northern run with a little bear off before pinching upwind again.  Very little time spent on the back of the island reef flats as it was a bit dicey with the fin/water depth (might have to invest in a 22cm Delta fin).

Toody called it a day early & Binny not too long after. Think Dr Cam even gave up on the strip, but not before racking up some very decent determined numbers!- big Kudos to the man!!!.... In the end Dr Cam decided to muck around with some gybes near the tip of the island while Binny had the gopro running.  I just followed along for a couple & failed miserably, particularly on one very unco attempt where I ended up being backhanded big time- asked Binny to delete but he reckons no chance! Laughing

Definitely wrong board choice for my skill level today, but all considered, still a great couple of days spent with good company in Far North Tropical Qld, in Boardies! Cool

Used the ol' "Little Woody" Isonic 90, Severne 7m OD R4, Tribal 31SW

quick arvo blast at shitty beach on the slalom gear.

7.8 scr 116 and 40 volt.

pretty rough and felt like I was sailing uphill most of the time but nice to make the most of the fading light and west aus seabreezes.

1st sail in forever, on Code 103 and gator 5.3 should have been on a 7.0 and iSonic - borrowed Dr Cam's JP and Pryde EVO for the 31.4 Cool
