Kalmus, Cape Cod. Nice bump & jump session on the slapper for a change. Well powered on 3S96/5.0 Idol, but should have used a better fin. Switched from the 26 cm fin to a 22 cm and the 110 l board when the water got very shallow near low tide at the end. Lots of people out, including Jon and Bill for the 1st session of the season. Fun day.

fin evaluation on a loaner board (AV60)…

punchy, gusty, holey Stick conditions with very short runs: nothing like slingshotting yourself into a hole two seconds after hitting Vmax. but there was one gust that let me sail almost clear to the other side. too bad it didn't hold for the return for a square NM time.  missed a handful of decent gusts early on due to a freestyler – the only rider at the moment – always being in the wrong spot.

fastest run was on the S32, also put on the S29 and Sonntag SLP30. 6.2OD
