Coodanup Board Testing.  Wanted to test my Simmer 3XS 106 against an older board I've had my eye on.  Stayed in the choppy rough water to get a real sense of how they handle. The Simmer was far superior.  The modern boards are a big improvement. Will keep the simmer and return the demo board.

Well it was good to get out and experience some nice flat water for a change. Pity I didn't rig for the conditions instead of the expected, non existent, gusts

Launched from Wamba St with Joe, but he was going in as I was going out. Dogged my way into the pond, and joined the usual Pinnas crew, and a few of our own for a change.

Had a couple of runs that felt nice, but the 5.2 on the 43, just wasn't enough. The 21@47 felt good, I haven't used this fin mutch, but couldn't find the 22@ 40/60, not that I looked all that hard, I did pick up a 22@30 but wasn't sure about weed/burgs, so decided against it. Turns out it would have been fine, there was weed but well below the surface.

Allmost sailed all the way through the channel on the return run, but run out of wind near the end.

Short but fun session at Liptons, used a 42cm pointer today launched 2m from the waters edge.

3 runs accross to Piont Grey and back.

Was Grandad out there again with the yopung trendsetters wang danging it.

Coodanup, WA, AU. First time in the chook pond. Underdone and missed the best wind, but i can see if the wind had kicked in it would have been sensational. Looking forward to trying it again.  good roll up, nice to catch up with everyone
