Flex (15724km):  3 categories    Coodanup, WA, AU Quick session on the pond as late as I could in the hope the tide would be lower. No luck there as water pretty much as high as its ever been. First session with DIY GPS so hoping for a good comparison. Wind seemed all over the place but based on last attempt a few days ago rigged 5.7 so wouldn't be overcooked. Was good choice as could hande all the gusts. Choppy as except for a tiny little strip so did a few runs there. Was chuffed (and surprised considering conditions) to see a PB on the DIY...and confirmed on the GW60 when back home. At one stage a bunch of about 6 pelicans were heading directly upwind faster than me and only 20 meters or so away...they were making it look easy travelling about 1" above the chop without flapping...how the hell does that work? Pointman (25080km):  Short sesh at Melville after work. M137 + 7.0 TR9 + 38 CL SL2 It was shite. Short, brutal gusts followed by nothing. Steep nasty chop. Freakin cold. Really quite unpleasant. It was exercise, that's about all it had going for it .
