Tricky Bogan (21417km): Well that was a pleasent surprise Light n fluffy 5-10 knt at home but headded down anyway as Capt Carl was going to sail with Hoppy & I. Arrived just behind Hoppy & no Carl what had we been dumped?? no just draging his heels. The wind was picking up so the 7 Loft RB 101 CA SL & the trusy 22 Fanggy razor slayer was the kit. Blasted out with a 27 peak first run & setttled in for an hour it was not quite enought but great sailing. At the 45m mark the harness line rope broke on starboard, Had a chat was Carl & Hoppy both had better numbers so had to lift my game, got a nice gust on the smooth WHOOT baby the harness line along on the plastic tube for the next hour & a half when it finally gave up I headded in Leaving the boys milking the smooth stuff in the dying breeze. Hope they made it back in OK. Headded home to BB Sit the grandies. Cracker sail with Hoppy & Carl
hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury 12-17 then 15-23 NW FF102, GPS 7.3, 20 Fangy Sailed with Trick and Carl today and it was great fun on the big gear. Only downer was the rain as we packed up and the road workers and stop lights.
Captain skip bogan (50090km): Stansbury, SA, AU - 15 to 20 with a couple of stronger gusts. Great fun on mid sized kit with Tricky and Hoppy and great to be back at Stansbury. Not the ideal direction and not super low tide but was a nice breeze - gusty at times but good to have a decent look around and didn't hit any razor fish . Managed a couple of decent runs along the oyster leases and on one run ended up quite deep in noah territory . Definitely worth the drive and will be back soon - especially over summer... . Cheers for the beer Hoppy and great to catch up as usual guys . Patrik 100 / 2021 Loft blade 6.9 / Fangy speed 21.
