Wow burst of summer today, typical gusty northerlies form 5 knots to 30 knots, great fun but hard yakka sailing when it's on and off

Hindmarsh Island, SA, AU MURRAY MOUTH  NNE 10 to 2o knots which was great with 7.8 gun 40 tribal carbon, and 113L slalom,

up and down the coast corrong is epic on NNE, but then went NNW and all hell broke loose. was too choppy and runs were short and apart the fact it was gusting to 35 40 knots. eeck.,  good work out

el Bog, SA, AU. nasty gusty northerly, well past 30 on the regular.  I watched for the first hour or so as people were rag dolled on tiny sails.

Eventually I went out on the Falcon, a BP weed speed 28 and one of Leon's Ezzy's: a 4.5m Wave Panther. I ate it hard quite a bit at first, but eventually got closer to the dial on the strange sail had some better moments before the wind departed. Almost no gybes, hardly any k's, but completely spent.

Very surprised at how stable that lil Ezzy was in big gusts when I got it tuned. Not what I'd expect from a RAF at all. Thanks Leon, how much do you want for it? :)

Outer Harbs. Northerly... Hot. Choppy FS. Started 20kt, then went north of 35. I could barely hang on out the back. I think this might be my PB for Haven. This is a hard place to get a speed run. You go in for a run, and there is a wind hole, or there is a Kiter doing I high dangle with board twisty, or the EverGreen will come in and steel all your wind. There was some good bare aways but had to abort because somebody was in the way. Oh well. I'm happy with my 31. There were more Windsurfers than Kiters today at Outer Harbs. Some guys I haven't seen in years. There were only two guys doing any good. Me and another dude I have never met. Poor old Joe Belluzzo came too late and rigged too big. Then it ****'ed out. Poor Joe. A pout as long as Pete's runs at Sugars :D. Good times. JP FSW 85, Sailworks Hucker 4.2, Select Casper GPS Speed 27 fin (excellent fin. No spin outs !). Sailed for about 3hrs.
