939 days ago First time on the Mach4 7.8 and tons of changes, 80mm longer in the luff with a huge pocket and 100mm shorter on the boom. So max on short extension and min on big boom which I will have to cut down now to get negative out haul. Really light up and down day but seemed to come in after most of us bailed, sail seemed to have tons of bottom end, keen to give it a blast in a blow!
Good to see a few winter hibernators back on the water and tops to have a blast with Vando

939 days ago 1 categories An East/Southeast at first and only approx 12.5knots at most. As the afternoon moved on, wind swung a little more SE and strengthened to 14 ~ 15 knots, though by then most of us were stuffed due to our lack of windsurfing fitness, except Young Nick who is like one of those pink bunnies with a Duracel battery inserted, that just keeps going and going! Nick: First to arrive and last to get out of the water.
Many thanks to Vando for the loan of his Loft 7.0m2 Racing Blade sail, as I had left my N SL7.0m2 at home. A touch of the Vando magic, and I was almost able to catch the Master himself. The Loft has better balance that the Naish SL, and strong front end pull. Gybing it requires some changes to hand positions. Good to see you Michael, though I just wish there was something we could do for your situation, and also to see John Scott out doing a foil on his Alien 125 + 7.0 Glide.
