Choco (14530km): Fun blast, wind was a bit patchy, could'nt line a descent gust in the flat was better out in the chop. FF114 6.6 evo12 34cm Lake Bonney
Trousers (14352km): el bog, west with a touch of north, lots of lulls, some reckon we hit 20kts today, which might be right in some of the stronger gusts. Knocked around on the Mach Four 7.0 plugged into the iSonic97 on top a BPR275, trying to split the diff between lull and gust. West brought lump as usual, but not as bad as west can be. Some bigger gusts were the exception, and it got angry on the far shore making starboard gybes almost three point turns. I couldn't find the flat today, and never drove it hard as I 'd have liked, but I saw the Captain giving it a good crack heading deep off the wind. Chased him a few times, but the water was too sketchy for me to hold for long at all. Don't know how you do it! Jay turned up and was looking in fine form and still enjoying it when I left. Leon, Phil and Glen all threw their hat in. despite the lump, the sun was mostly out and it was a fun day to be sailing.
Unknown Location Bogan (10887km): el Bog. Carl's old 6.3 KA, Pat 92 Slalom ][ + 31 Tectonic and JP SS 109 + 30 MUF weedy. 2nd session on the 6.3 and dialing it in. Needs a bit more work, but happy with it. Nice sailing with the guys. About 6 sailors and 2 Wing dingers. Nice not being freezing cold. May be my last Boggy session this year, as the roadworks are giving me the poopy.
Captain skip bogan (50090km): Boggy lake 15 to 20 - westerly with a small hint of nw. Great day at Boggy with a good turnout for a gusty day - Trousers, J, Phil, Sam S and another unknown. Started out with a rain squall and after the sun came out and wind picked up. Decided on big board and mid sized sail with an increasing forecast and gusty conditions. Probably the best day i have ever had at boggy in westerley maybe due to the gusts the water state was good for a change. Got hold of a number of decent gusts on both port and starboard tack and soon had a 33.5 on the screen and a few 32's. It's been a while since i have ridden the big board and it worked exceptional in the rough water just flattened out all the bumps lol. I am amazed at 30 years of windsurfing and i love it as much as the day i started or even more - BRING ON LAKE GEORGE in a couple of weeks....
