Point Grey, WA, AU.  Arrived to 15-18 knots and dead flat.    Wind kept building to 18-21, almost too good to be true so rigged 6.5 as fast as I could.  Almost went out on the sinker but decided against it as didn't want to get stranded so went out on 104.  Was good call as the good wind only lasted one lap, the sun came out and the wind steadily died over the next few laps till coming off the plane so chugged back to car park.  Rigged 7.8 and back on the big board and had another pleasant cruisy sail.    The weed was thick and there was a sort of outter ring of really solid weed that was always threatening to throw me over the handlebars so tried to avoid but meant shortish runs.  Wind kept improving and thought I might be able to get a good hr in.  Of course after 30 min or so a dark storm cloud approached and just before it hit the local intelligencia arrived in a 4wd and proceeded to work their way around the bay doing burn outs in all the mud.   The dark cloud was an anticlimax, the wind just swung quickly west pushing me deep into Robert bay then died to exactly zero.   Started walking back as was zero wind, whole place like glass.   Then the rain came.   Luckily a tiny breeze came back which let me chug back most of the way at about 2knots.    Then died again and was quicker walking.    Should have been 30 minutes earlier and would have scored some excellent conditions.  120 Tabou Rocket, 7.8 Severne OD M2, FF22
