Reg (3745km):  1 categories  On the family yacht today, the Patrik 120, 7 metre Mach2 and FHot 42cm keel. A pleasant, if somewhat frustrating episode, because of the on/off wind. However the sun was nice and the water warm. All good....except, on de-rigging, my 430 Severne RDM 2 piece mast decided that it didn't want to be in two pieces any more and became welded together. I tried my best for 15 minutes but no luck. After about 30 minutes and the efforts of 5 other very kind burley sailors, it came apart with the technique of muscle, WD40 and a good bashing. Flex (15724km):  1 categories Melville Beach, WA, AU. Arrived to find Reg wizzing about (and doing some spectacular faceplants in the turns) so foolishly rigged thinking there was wind. There wasn't. Did one lap and never remotely looked promising so left Reg to it. | ||||||||||||||||||
