Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU.   Got an early start with the hope of doing some km.    Did about 20km when one of the DIY GPS's locked up so decided to switch it out.  Wind was up and down, over cooked one minute then underdone the next.  Would get 2 or 3 reasonable runs in then would start chugging. Trying for hr or distance seemed like a big ask.   Woody, Antman, Darren and BSN101 rolled up, then felt wind was getting too much for the 6.5 so patched the 5.8 I'd put a hole in yesterday, and changed to smaller board.  This was a mistake as never got going with the smaller sail.  Tried bigger board with with same result so went 6.7 this time since there seemed more lulls than squalls. This was better but still after 20 mins or so wind would drop off with the odd squall thrown in. Someone else turned up who turned out to be CrimsonFlash.  I had also somehow managed to get badly chafed yesterday from all the walking and running around in a wet wet suit, which meant it all got a bit tedious and never got in any kind of rythym.  Only BSN101 looked like getting much joy.    I gave up just as Boz arrived buzzing with enthusiasm.  120 Tabou Rocket, 6.5 Severne Turbo, 24FF (then 33TWS)

A gusty session with Ant, Flex, Dan, Boz and a few locals Daren and Dave. Still good to sail in average conditions. Falcon 56 Evo 5.8

Australind WA

A nice session with the boys down at Australind (Ant, Woody, Jim, Boz and a few others). Had the Windtech CM with 6.1 Loft SpeedBlade and 34cm pointer. Bit underdone at times but good to be on the water. Just missed a little hail storm after I came in but Boz copped it. Very small hail - more like sleet.

Fun little fang around at Melville in a pretty solid, and consistent Smile WNW.

M137 + 7.8 M3 + 38 CL fin

Went with the 7.8 expecting it to fade, but it didn't, so I was pretty lit at times.

Pleasantly surprised this front had some staying power, usually by late arvo day two it's all over red rover.

Yep the hail/sleet was fun, white out, pity couldn’t see as it was the strongest gust where I got the 34. Need goggles 😁

ya Dave, I think many of us confuse Bunbury with Busso.  Still, you have 1/3 the drive so are more local. With the absence of vocal Bunbury sailors?? you claim/default this spot as your 'local'. Its all relative according to some Einsy guy.  But dumb question have any of you sailed your 'local' Wonnerup esturies?    No doubt there is reason you drive much further but some bodies of water look like have potential..
