Belmont (16s), NSW, AU

175/F4 SLalom 800/8.0

SE 8-12kts gusty - Nice session with Lyds launching from the 16s, which is perfect for the angle today.Too conservative again with the the sail choice but the larger board is a huge help in getting/keeping going in what was marginal conditions for this foil. Not enough downhaul limiting the top speeds a bit today. Just felt a bit too back handed in the gusts, forcing the nose down.

Patchy 5- 12kts SE - SSE Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5m Turbo- WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weed demon

I  probably planed 10 % of the time but it was a lovely day on an empty lake. I'm trying to build myself up so I can handle the big sail again. The neck and shoulders weren't happy. I need to get my core strength back.

I had one lovely run from the slip down past Coal. Comfortably powered 19kts odd..I needed a rest at the end..Embarassed Not up to a fully planing session yet. I can't believe how much sailing fitness I've lost..Undecided

2 foilers in Belmont bay, a few wingdings upwind near Wangi , Andrew & Nic over near Wangi. I thought Nic was on a fin...

I had to leave early and it looked like it came in nicely between Coal and Wangi as I packed up.

Thank you Matty! You are progressing so well on the foil. Great speed on the big wing. So glad you are enjoying it! sounds like you have found the right gear.  Thank you Tibor! How lucky are we all to do this so often! Such a great run of wind we are having.
