Mallacoota, VIC, AU Bit of fun at GWS with a team mate Oldsalty. Doug made the trip up with some friends and all of his gear and we got a gentle Southerly. I thought i was loading a Pitcrew onto my boat with the gear and as it turned out Oldsalty should not of left his big gear at the house, probably could of squeezed it in.Laughing It was great to be able to show Doug GWS even though the tide was high and the wind was light we still had a good laugh and a fun sail.

Mallacoota, Goodwin Sands VIC, AU

CA63 Koncept 6.6 Tribal 35 speed weed

Not sure of wind direction but 12 - 15kts with a few bullets

Vonpat smacked my tush big time

Wrong gear should have taken the 7.4 and 135 ltr board but took gear for a forecast(as advised by Dale) that never eventuated.  Dale needs a bigger boat!

He tells the story of his sailing buddy always telling him to rig the wrong gear and I just wonder if there was a little of that passed onto me!

Dale , it was great to experience Goodwin Sands - thankyou for that and I will be back.  I might have to hire the Gipsy Princess pontoon boat to get all the right gear out next time!
