Nice sesh, pretty lit in the gusts, which were approaching 25K at times.

I am very unfit and out of practice and it certainly shows in the numbers, but it was a very pleasant sail in a fantastic location with a bunch of like minded enthusiasts. I was not powered up enough to go deep downwind, but there was plenty of power for my level of (un) fitness.

I knew my fitness really didn't warrant the drive, but for once I actually had the time to come to Albany when it was windy, so I took advantage of it.

Nice numbers boys and girl! All you all needed was a bit more of that predicted wind! Nevertheless well done Richo on your P.B's.

On another subject..Bloody B.O.M. couldn't forecast the smell after a fart! Back in UK 35 years ago the MET Office very rarely got the foecasts wrong...and with no computers back then and shockingly complex weather patterns coming off the Atlantic. Here in WA the weather patterns are boringly similar and even with all the BOM's computing power they are nearly always wrong at predicting wind speeds and wrong by a decent margin. I'm gonna stop paying my taxes....oh! I just remembered I don't pay tax. Whatever.

Congratulations Richo on a top session with 4 PBs. Big distance.

Congratulations Ant on sneaking in a distance PB by 1km, and getting oh so close to an alpha PB, missing it by .03 of a knot! I only saw you do one alpha but it was an absolute scorcher. I said to myself, "Wow, that was fast ".

You will have to do 1 km better tomorrow and get a round 150 km.
