Too much wind today, it was not forecast to be that strong but came up with in minutes of getting out on the water.  Still need to gain confidence on FF79 and with the wind Ave 32 knots gusting 40 it was not ideal. Real shame as it would been great to try out the 5.2 in that wind. 

Tide was getting really low today 0.8m and bare feet were getting punished if I came off/stopped in the wrong areas. I came ashore just before low tide  and thought I would get back out again, but in the end the wind was just too brutal so I called it quits.

Christchurch Estuary, NZ ,,Wind dropped to nothing quite quickly, ..long walk back.

A few runs on the harbour then some more on the estuary. All very much rather average sailing. Still beats domestic chores any day. FF 79, LRB 7.0 6.3, C3 34/30
