James Farley (12642km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Exocet RS6, TRX 7.0, Vmax 43 - Wind S 18-22 knots Didnt look that windy from shore so picked the bigger slalom gear, but was well overpowered. Also raining horizontally. Just a couple of runs in the chop, then decided to save my energy for our foiling regatta tomorrow. Good to hang out with Ian and Lyndon who wisely stayed in the shelter of the clubhouse.
Byron Mcilveen (63506km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU s2 venom 6.3, falcon 90, tribal fins demo Thanks to Mark Jordan and Mat for lending there fins to me to demo if I had usedd my kestral I would have killed myself. I was so happy with the tribal speed I bought two of them. great sailing with every one today even though the water level was high it was a great sail just needed more wind but I had a great time. Mark and Mat were killing it and Andrew was still going when I left.
Andrew Haigh (48704km): Budgewoi, NSW, AU Falcon 79 and 6.2. with Fangy 18 V2, then V3 then V4, then Techtonics 21. A day of fin testing. Pretty miserable day, cold and wet with the normal hardcore speedsters. |
