851 days ago Melville Beach, WA, AU. Never seen so many Pinnas in one spot, even Flatchat's wingdingthing had a flat battery so he joined us, went out on the small board but wind dropped off and was a pain to get going so swapped back to big board. Wind of course booted back in but could not be bothered changing back again. Unfortuantley had to stop early to head to daughters graduation. iSonic 97 FF22 then 120 Tabou rocket FF24 7.8 Severne Overdrive M2

There was a very pleasing posse of Pinnaroos when I arrived at Melville this afternoon, even Tim had put aside the wingding and hauled out his sail. The only one not in attendance was the wind, which made a brief appearance and then decided to go and do some Christmas shopping or something. The wind came back later, but was still a bit less than we would have liked.
As there was not much speed on offer I decided to work on alphas, and had them coming along quite nicely by the end of the session. I probably should have changed down to a faster board but decided to stay with the combo that was working well. Not a top 5 alpha but my best for the year, so I am very happy with that.
It was very pleasing to see so much team support on a weekday.

Fun day at Melville with a large collection of Pinnaroos. Became a little impatient waiting for gusts and speed runs so joined cannonball at Pt Walter for a few runs.

851 days ago Summers arrived at Liptons. Lots of mature, experienced, elder statesmen from Mandurah out on the water today but only me from the Pinnas. Where was everyone? Had about 45 mins on the AV118Litre yacht and 7.o Severne Mach 3. Then it really started to blow so changed down to iSonic 80 Slim and 5m Mach 4.

Thought I throw a couple of laps on the ol' slapper after a fun ding session. Hopefully some decent seabreezes will mean a few more slapping sessions to look forward to. Good to see so many of the summer crew coming down for a play. Water was ridiculously warm. Global warming?

First seabreeze sail this summer for me. Has been a long time coming. Great to be back at the local with a bunch of pinnas and the regular loacals. Some thick weed in spots at point walter.
