1087 days ago Melville Beach, WA, AU. Another short session in the sun with a pile of Pinnas out enjoying the wind. Felt a nice gust kick in but the Slow one and another sailor (Boz?) was on opposite tack and on potential collision course for the speed run but made the decision to cut ahead of him/them as he +1 had clear view of me. Figured he would see what I was up to, continue his current upwind trajectory and let me pass by. Probably poor form as he had right of way etc but there was plenty of clearance. Felt fast but didn't dare glance at the dial due to increasing chop. Hard to believe I nailed a real PB at Melville. iSonic97, 6.5 Severne Turbo, FF22

1087 days ago Late arvo sesh at Peli.
No late arvo fade today, it was solid 25-30K while I was on the water from 5 until just after 6.
Stacked on the 6.6 TR7 + WT 64 + 34 CL SL2 combo.
High tide, so no flat water on offer, and the five-by is a Peli PB, so pretty happy with this sesh, I was lit!

Melville , 98ltr Manta 6.3 RacingBlade.
Great wind today. Pretty disappointed i didnt get a better 2 sec but think i found a better rush in heading out far in the strongest wind with chop. Got the heart rate up and felt on edge so might be leaning towards more of that in future than the flat water. Also think it might harden my skills for the flat water speed and make me a better sailor. Time will tell.

Great day on the water 4 days of good tides and steady wind. Fun sending it through the chop at the end of the runs. Good to see ricey anita flex Ben Richo giving it a good go, plenty out fun pacing with the slow one up and down the runs. Just a great day on the water. Good to see jay get up from a spectacular crash

I would have done better with a 5m sail today. Some of the gusts were brutal and I wasn't brave enough to really send it.
I started out going for alphas because I was doing quite well at my last session on Monday, but it was too windy and I kept getting sucked into speed runs. I did manage an 18 kn alpha at a proximity of 60m.
I had hoped to get a 30kn 2 sec because I don't think I have ever done 30 knots at Melville, and did 29.5 early so 30 seemed achievable, but I couldn't get over 29.5.
It was good to see a big group of Pinnaroos enjoying the wind and sunshine.
Better than being at work.
I am going to hurt tonight and probably tomorrow as well. I am hurting already despite no crashes. I feel like I have done 9 rounds with a heavyweight

That was a good one! Felt like a young'n again a few times out the back I had to find less wind to be able to gybe. Rigged before it booted in so relieved when it did. Top speeds were at Point Walter. Was hoping to get a better alpha today but wind was too inconsitent at Wally world until it swung too far to the south and struggled with traffic at Melville. (Excuses, I have heaps) Fantastic to see a bunch of Pinnas including a cameo by Lunny and Pacey, plus the Melville regulars, some of whom we haven't seen for a while.
