iSonic 67 | M4OD7.0 | WS31

Late sail on the low tide.  Wind was quite WSW and gusty.  Got the 40 knots on my second run, but never really got much better wind-wise.

Should be good tomorrow, wind just starting to pick up now!!

Posted results manually again from mini-motion as KA72 is not taking me to the GPSTC session page?

Stanley, TAS, AU, Quite a while since i have sailed, and it showed. It was gusting to 28 knots so i rigged a 6.2, put the 27 in the iso 55

and headed out. Did a couple of 38s then with the next gust spun out going across the channel, got that back in control, then did a tail walk,

decided to keep going for a 41 so was happy with that. Then the bolt and nut in the boom clamp came undone, sailed back to the van and fixed that.

Had a few more runs for a 42. There was good wind so i thought i would go and try the new Mach 5 Proto 5.2, also changed the fin to a 23 assy.

By this stage the wind had dropped out a bit, half way out i had to jump off onto a sea urchin which wasn't ideal.

Ended up getting a 41 with the 5.2 so was very happy with that in not a lot of wind.

The wind was dropping towards the end so i had to water start most of the way back across the inlet, it was at this stage

that i looked at the board and realised i had been sailing the iso 63 all the time.
