Short session a bit underpowered but going most of the times, a couple of spin outs catching weed. Harder to get upwind with this kit

Cronulla, NSW, AU. Goya quad 94/JP FS115, NP Combat 5.6m. Interesting session in the waves. Early on, very patchy going from 20+kn to <5kn so really tiring. Ended up making a slight mistake coming into the beach, wave caught the clew and shore break flattened me also breaking my hand. Sailed a couple more runs and counldn't work out why the board was sliding until I relaised I has snapped one of the main fins off at the base! Spent rest of session on the 'big beast' 115L JP from 2003. Felt a real handful copmpared to the Goya - when jumping it feels like the bus in 'Speed' when it goes over the gap in the freeway. Bailed out of a few upside down table tops as didn't fancy the landings.  Started the day with a COVID booster but can't blame that for feeling like I've been hit by a truck . The tracks show a fair amount of walking back up the beach...
