Cervantes GPS Challenge.

Fun sesh.  Went out initially on the G90 + 6.5 Turbo, but pretty marginal for the small board so grabbed the WT64 instead.

Went the hour attempt first up, but I was a bit under-powered on the 6.5, it wasn't as windy as it looked.

Came in and rigged the 7.0 M3 and went back out for the speed sesh.

Got a nice mile late in the day, but it doesn't count towards my GPS score (looks like I started the run just after 5pm Yell).

Apart from that disappointment it was a good sesh and a nice warm-up for tomorrow.

Albany, WA, AU. A little frustrating day.  Spent most of the time dealing with an annoying drone glitch.  Finnaly resolved and headed down and met Morts and Cliff (spelling?) Then found I'd lost the bolts to the tuttle somewhere along the line.  Luckily Waricle came in and loaned some bolts but then found the rear brass nut had stripped.  Spent ages trying to bash it out to replace using available tools and finally gave up and ran with just one bolt.  Thus ready I had to run the drone regardless since I'd burnt most of the day faffing with it.   I think I got some good shots of Morts then headed out.  Basically just went for Alphas, got to within 0.002 of PB with Alpha but couldn't crack it and found the harder I tried the worse the sail flip was so called it early.  Wind was good...shoulda forgot the tech and just sailed.  iSonic 97, 7.0 KA Race, FF22

That’s still a good alpha Jim. A PB and three top fives isn’t too shabby so far this trip. 😎
