Unknown Location Bogan (10887km): Lake George, SA, AU. 5-20kt. Direction: var. 2nd and last day. Waited all day (Nb/ Camped at 5th mile with Daishy). I nearly bailed, But Daishy talked me into it "you can leave if you want..." . 1 run, gybed at Cockey's and wind died then wind went from SE to SW. So, pushed the "home" button as I didn't know what it was going to do (the sky had those "wind is going to die very soon" clouds). Tacked up wind to 5 mile. Lightning started. Daishy came in. We had a coffee (and really strong one.. and that's another story..). Was going to pack up, but wind came in hard. So, we both went out and tried to beat my 2sec pk, but then the wind died as I was setting up the 1st bear away and I conked out the sail. Oh well. Daishy is a really good mentor. He takes time to share his knowledge and experience. Thanks Pete Farewell LG !. Many be next year I get to ride the 49cm stick and the Hucker when it's +30 ? (I'll be practicing at Boggy this winter !) KArace 6.3, Falcon 107, Daishy's big weed fin, then my Tribal Speedweed 29.
