Tricky Bogan (21417km): Light sail with Carl at Stansbury 7m loft RB Kitchen door 80wide started with the 22FF but was way under and the tide was ripping in so changed to the 32 leassacher weedie was a lot better, Wind started at 10-13 ^ picked up to 13-15 max was a nice little sail finnished with a cold frothie might be a PB for the big board (dont sail it very often)
Trousers (14352km): el Bog, sw-er to 20kts (maybe). looked more than it was, then got more than it looked. strange day, quite powered at times on my 6.2 Mach One/iSonic 97/BPR32.5. A well-worn combo. Chris, Yetti-Shane and me got some good blasting up top. But, the odd tail walk and too much energy working the board through the rough. Swapped to a Vector Rocket 30cm. Voila! Everything settled and I had a great last few drags to get me thru to next weekend.
Sellicks Bogan (7203km): Nice finish to the weekend, first sail at boggy this year, started on my 112 mistral 38 rockit and 7mtr mach 1. Dropped down to the 96 isonic for a few runs was nice with the 34 tribal, held the 7 sail well with no spin outs. Great combo cruising through the chop. Trousers and Chris kept me company for a few runs.
Captain skip bogan (50112km): Stansbury, SA, AU - 12 to 16. An unexpected sail both days and after the better forecast yesterday i was very happy to get a run today. Woke up at the caravan park to some wind and packed up and out at 10am. After brekky decided to rig with the tide dropping nicely. After the Fangy 24 yesterday a little small on 8.6 / 128 combo i decided on 115 . 7.8 combo. Wow what a difference rock solid and was great all session. Managed to get on the stansbury glass and went in to see Tricky turn up. Went back out with him and soon after the tide rolled in but so did the wind. Managed some good runs with Tricky - great fun. Cheers Tricky for after sesh beers and loan of the motion after i left my 2 x gps's at home lol. Patrik 115 / 7.8 loft switchblade / FF24. |
