808 days ago Coodanup, WA, AU. Knowing Canonball was going for hr tried the same at Coodnup. 4 sailors out when I arrived. Wind was ok for a bit but then seemed all over the place. Dropped a few gybes, then started spinning out a pile and stopping to see if there was weed stuck somewhere, then chugging. Never got into any kind of rythym. Wasn't any smooth...so spoilt at Lilacs. Towards Cinderella time wind improved and stopped spinning out so sailed till the hour o meter stopped climbing...then the wind died again so called it quits. iSonic97, 7.0 KA Race, FF22

808 days ago After Lilacs last week, this sail was an anti climax. It was blowing like mad when I arrived. As soon as I had zipped across to Point Grey on my tiny 54cm JP slalom and 5M Mach 4 sail.....the wind dropped! I'd rigged the wrong gear. However, Scott and Ben were going very well. I persisted and picked up a few gusts and enjoyed getting wet.

Liptons with Ben and Reg. Been a while since my last sail at Liptons - underdone on the 6.2 but otherwise a very enjoyable sail.

Arrived expecting to see a few there so great to see Scott there with a couple of friends. Wind was a bit shiftier than the usual sea breeze at liptons so rigged the KAR7.1. First hour on the mistral 112 with 31cm weedy I snagged some weed a few of times after gybing and 64 minutes in footstrap came loose again. Reg arrived and blasted straight out for a naughty! Switched to the isonic86 with 29tws. Was great for most of the hour but suffered on the smaller board in the patches of lighter wind. Had a blast cruising around after that which still produced a respectable hour but couldn't get close to Scott's speeds. Another glorious day on the water.
