Albany, WA, AU Another fun day with great bunch, special mention for Rondog you owned it today, as well as seeing the big fella Strop out of retirement and smashing it out there. Under cooked today on the 5.2 just needed a tad more power but still a real fun session. Only mishap the Antman who took a big crash and destroyed his boom. Like a trooper got back up Manta 54 KAR 5.2

Melville Beach, WA, AU. Everyday Melville seems to be stooping to new lows for wind quality.  Started on 7.8 in classic shifty holey mess then the wind stopped.  Went 8.6 but probably not worth the effort.  Hoping this means the wind in Albany has been great.

Quick sail this morning before the drive back home. Tide was in early and flat water tuned to chop by mid morning. Underdone on the 6.3 , 6.9 would have been better option.  Packed up as the wind was improving.

Top few days at Albany with an awsome bunch.

An 825km round trip starting at 3am. Great fun session but felt a little tired for some reason? So I rigged the 5.8 and didn’t bother trying to hold down the 6.6. It was nice in a few gusts but a little under done for most. Always enjoyable sailing with everyone and used the Falcon 56 for most. The Jp50 caused the wind to back off when it hot the water so only a couple of chugging runs on the speed board.

Ant I had my fingers crossed for you today mate hoping you would get that elusive 40. So close mate, I'm sure you will be back and will smash it nxt time.

Boz and Woody top effort I never get tired of watching you guys sending it. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling it today so packed it in early  but looking forward to nxt time  and sailing with the legends of the Pinnaroos.

Glad you're ok Antman and sorry you still missed that elusive 40.  What you reckon you hit?  A ray?  Any clues from fin damage?

So close to a Lilacs 40 Ant. And too close to something else too. Glad you are OK, sorry about the boom.

That is about the third time someone has hit something on that naughty run. Morts was quite badly injured a couple of years ago. Quite a lot of investigation of the area went on looking for something solid but nothing was found.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to go to Lilacs again and give it a red hot go trying to overtake some of the scores from Lake George.

Lilacs is good but still not Lake George, unfortunately.
