Coodanup, WA, AU. Another so much better than Melville day.   Nearly a repeat of the last 2 days but with less wind and less water and a lot more rays.  Very pleasant cruise with Fangy.   Water depth meant grounding out on turns unless fully powered but wind wasn't quite enough to do this at times.  Best wind was right at start but was hoping it would boot as forecast to work on Alphas as was the flatest I've seen Coods.   Wind didn't want to deliver so cruised around dodging the many many rays.   When going away from the sun you could see their wings and or shadows but the other way was blinded by the glare.  After witnessing the big man get taken down by one, (followed by the crabs getting him while he recovered), I was a bit cautious and had many close calls with one that felt like it jumped up my arse..not sure who was more scared.  Also seemed to be more sea eagles dive bomb fishing so presumably the lower tide meant easier pickings for them.   Tried one NM attempted but spun out when hit the choppy bit where I'd chickened out yesterday.  iSonic 97, 7.0 KA Race, FF22

Flex, Glad to see you have discovered the delight that Coodanup can be. Another top 5 alpha today - the change to boom to boom transitions must have helped (and some consistent wind and flat water). Just need more wind for a PB now. and you have a jellybean back...

Sorry I couldn't join you, too much to do today. What a glorious day though!
