Port Douglas, QLD, AU.Arvo session with Rick, Andrew and Ian..loaded trusty 105 Fox on ute but noticed water pissing out of preasure relief valve on deck'.Wasn't happy'. So had to sail big 120 Fox in 18 to 25kts of breeze, smallest rig i took to beach was 7m..Was maxed out on it the whole time and had to pull up at half time and do a fin change from 40 to 38cm. Big Fox was tail walking out the back in the big gust  and a very choppy sea..  Thought it might of ended badly ,fin change was worth the walk up the beach as Fox was much happier and i had a very solid blast till the fuel ran out..Everyone had to work hard today..Guess it was worth rigging up for..But i missed my 105 Fox today..When i am in a better mood i will see whats wrong with it..All good fun.. Cheers Ed.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Another short little fun arvo solo sesh off the mudpit.  Bit tricky to rig for, as the wind was light onshore to begin with, but it was soon realised to be absolutely fully hectic out past the shark buoys.  Think 12~20+ SSE...  And then it just kept on building!!! Surprised

After the first few runs I found myself well upwind over near Machans beach super powered up, tackling the swell & chop with the kiters, with my eyes like dinner plates!  So much so, I had to batwing it back to base to take a breather as the sailing fitness was lagging big time for these conditions!

Steadied the heart rate for about 15mins or so before getting back out on the water.  Thankfully the breeze backed off enough to prevent any predictable carnage...

Thought I might have had a half decent courageous NM (for the gnarly beach conditions today) but noticed the gybe was too early due to my shrinking kahunas telling me to get back into some sort of safer zone closer to shore!  Could have made the effort to plug in a smaller board, but just too knackered by this stage, so decided to call it a day...

Still all good fun in the sun!!!

Hope the crew had a good day out in Latte Land today! Smile
