Pointman (25080km): Peli. Fun foil in a gusty Sou'Easter. 800 wing + 95 fuse + 7.0 M3.
Boz (39142km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Fun little sail on the SE with the mob and Richo, but gusty but nice to get wet Manta 59 KAR 5.7
Flex (15736km): Coodanup, WA, AU. Finally some wind. Arrived to find Windxtasy telling me the wind was 2knots just a few minutes ago and maybe Liptons was better. Looked enough for me. but it was big wind gear. Bugger, I had/was anodising all my Fangy fins except the 22 and hadn't got around to putting the gasket on again. Water a bit shallow to risk a tribal weedy so put the 22 on with the 7.8. Another sailor turned up and this turned out to be another Pinaroo, Gloria. Nice to meet and sail with you Gloria. Wind was very Melvillesk gusty and shifty but at least there was wind. Better wind was out further in the choppier stuff and the little fin on big board and sail struggled at times with plenty of spinouts. Had to call it quits to go collect Fangy's new skunk works fin so left the ladies hard at it. A good day, some wind, a new Fangy fin and even more exciting stuff planned for tonight. 120 Tabou Rocket, 7.8 Severne Turbo M2, FF22. Would have been better on the FF24 and the 8.6

Windxtasy (13853km): Coodanup iS111 7m Koncept 24 FF Best sail I have had all month! I am about to post two of the earlier ones which weren't worth posting at the time, so you will see there was little competition for "sail of the month". I arrived at Coodanup to "wind" ranging from 2.5 - 7.5 kn with gusts to 14. The water was very flat, at least. Messaged Flex to suggest Liptons. Flex said he was 10 minutes behind me, so I decided to wait. Just before Flex arrived the wind shifted SE and picked up, so that when Flex arrived to an average of 14 kn, he was wondering what I was talking about. We decided there was more wind than we had seen all month, and it was enough for planing, so we rigged big and set out. Gloria turned up for her maiden voyage at Coodanup, so we were able to give her some advice, and she seemed to enjoy herself in very friendly conditions, if a bit gusty. Soon after Flex left the wind dropped right off, allowing slogging only again, so Gloria and I called it quits. Flex, you were the bringer of wind today. 3 Pinnaroos at Coodanup and no Fangy, who left the gate WIDE open.
Richo 72 (5640km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Considering the weird weather recently it was great to be on the water today with Boz Stretch and co. Arrived around 10:30 and wind was up and Stretch was fangin. Rigged Manta 98ltr on 6.3 R/Blade and got my 31.918 knt run. Wasnt long before wind backed off so came in and rigged 6.9 R/Blade and upsized board to 118ltr AV. Wasnt long and wind blew up and i was up near Pnt Grey and just hanging on as the AV was trying to fly and hard to keep feet in footstraps. Not a great feeling. Boz was fangin at this point (36knts). Finally made it to shore to downsize to 98ltr and the wind backed off but managed a nice little naughty on my last run. Missed the best gust off the day but thats the way it goes sometimes.
