George (32558km): Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU || 8-15 WSW Micro131/ Koncept 4.4/ 914HA front wing Usual story , plenty of wind when I was rigging, then light rain started...but even if I had to wait plenty for the gusts, it was really good fun once it got going. This 914 wing is addictive. The basin water is high and there are a lot of floating weeds, had to stop several times, and even had a couple of low speed catapults when I hit some big clumps. | ||||||||||||||||||
AlfaMale (18525km): Club racing at SGSC, IN 5-25 knot SW. Seriously gusty and surprisingly flat water except for the m high braking waves on all the points. Very shallow but powerful swell running into the outgoing tide gave me 15° better angle on one run but get behind the swell and a very different story. Had a few wave rides near the point for fun while waiting for race starts. Good times. |
