Melville Beach, WA, AU. Got back from the tribal camp mission, unpacked and saw wind was up so headed down to stretch the legs after long drive. Windxtasy arrived just as I launched.   Was hardly any out and pleasant enough cruise....wind got a bit more Melville messier once Windxtasy came out but still sailable.   120 Tabou Rocket, 8.6 Severne Turbo M4, FF28

Melville Beach, WA, AU iS111, 7m Koncept, 40 CF

Wind gauge was reading 10 - 15 kn when I arrived just as Flex was heading out, but by the time I had rigged it had dropped to more like 8 - 12. Nice in the gusts, but the biggest joy was that I got to use my DIY GPS logger for the first time. It looks great with my orange KA sails and it works! Still posting from the GT 31 as the epoxy in the second unit is still curing, so I haven't had them officially approved yet.

Looks great. It doesn't get in the way there?

It doesn't get in the way while sailing or gybing, but I found it does when tacking, as I usually put my hand there, and I had to grab a bit further back, which is probably better anyway.

I don't usually tack much expect in very light wind, so it shouldn't be a problem
