Green Island FNQ -rainy/squally afternoon with 22-30 knots of SSE tradewinds ,rapidly incoming tide & no flat water ( again).

Used FF speed 52.5 /Tribal SW 25 /Evo 12 6.6 -nice combo for the conditions .

Entry to the speed run had chop from all directions so the 5 x 10 was challenging.

One lucky gust at the right time  & i managed to hang on  for my fastest 2 sec peak in 3 yrs so happy with that .!!Cool

Wind picking up  overnight according to wind guru so lets hope tomorrow delivers .

Holloways Beach, Far North QLD, AUS

Very short light wind solo sesh off the mudpit on the big gear.  Shifty 10~15kn breeze coming from a very Southerly direction.  Bit of a dreary ol' day off the beach with a cloud covered sky.  The ocean water was super chopped up and murky- not our usual paradise conditions today...

But I was still in boardies and managed to evade some house chores, so better than nothing! Smile

The wind gods were much kinder to Dr Cam over on GI punching out an absolutely awesome 2 second peak!  Big congratulations Doc!!  Massive Kahunas!!! CoolCoolCool

Used the Jag 125, Severne 8.6 M1, Venom 48

Port Douglas, QLD,  late arvo blast with my mate Rick..Wind was gusting from 16 to 25 kts with big tide running..Was a bit hard to stay dialed in and the sea was rough..Was getting a bit over powered on angary 105 Fox when the big gust hit.. Had burnt out 7m  sail in full lock down mode and was carrying a bit too much  fin...Fox took a real beating but never put a foot wrong.I Pulled up a bit early as i was getting a bit nervous as rig was fully loaded up and Fox was totaly maxed out and taking some big hits out in the big pool, Fox was still happy but I wasn't in the mood for broken gear and a long swim  home as the sun was going down.' maybe i am getting a bit soft'...Rick did a great job and hung in there well on small Isonic and 5.5m rig..Guess it was worth rigging up for..Cheers Ed..
