Melville Beach, WA, AU 5.7K, M91, 32 vector

A nice social sail at Melville with a bunch of Pinnaroos and other friends. It was very gusty and holey and Leon and I were both underpowered. Rather than rerig and struggle in the gusty conditions we decided to reserve our energy and hope for better tomorrow. Better to stop than get too frustrated.

Melville - IS101, CR6.5, Vector CF 32.  Nice to see so many Pinnaroos at one place.  Was hoping on a bit more wind, but am enjoying new fins that don't spin out.

Was a bit of a "mother in law" kind of day out there, unpredictable wind and rough as guts Cant complain though, much better than work or housework.

As predicted Anita and JJ the tide was too high for a decent speed run.

Heard a few commenting that they couldnt get fully comfortable today.

Optimistic session at Dutchies.

Started on the twin as it filled in nicely but then it backed off and switched to the quad.

Very nearly made a carving 360.

Rigged 5.8m which was right at the time of rigging, but wind dropped just before hitting the water. Kept letting off downhaul but it did not really do it.

Rocket 105 with 31 JP weedy.

Very gusty. First run felt fastest but forgot my GPS
