A great play with a few of the Pit Crew. I won't name who but one forgot his GPS but he did bring some great Muffins.Wink

Rigged big to chase a 1 hr , so it was great in the lulls and driving upwind and a handfull for everything else.Laughing

This sail is just so stable and it allows me to push it way past the envelope and get away with it....mostly. Possibly quicker with the smaller sail but so much fun .

Lake George, South Australia.

Great day on the lake. Quie nice strongish winds with breif gusts around 30Kts. Still quite difficult to line the flat patches up with the gusts but good fun and a Lucked a couple of good gusts.

Great to sail with Tricky and Chris, along with Jamie, Andy and Peter. Looks like all were enjoying the conditions.

I stayed down the Spit end of the lake today, and even had a go behind the spit. The angle was great and the water was very flat, but the wind just seemd a bit softer and hard to get the last couple of knots.

I had Katos words ringing in my ears. " Don't forget to do a 1hr!" Geeze, this was the last thing on my wish list in these conditions, but in the end I bit the bullet and tried and Hr on the M7 with the 5.2m sail flattened right out. It didnt go great as in the first 15 minutes I had 3 or 4 crashed Gybes, but I finally sorted that. Might have been quite reasonable without all the crashes but stll pretty happy with it. Anyhow, plently of time for that later in a bit less wind.

Camping at the spit tonight with Tricky and might even sail tomorrow. Will see how I pull up after today. Embarassed

CA40 with 16cm Atomic Nuclear weed, then, Mistral 47 for the 1Hr with Techtonics 17cm Weed Speed. 2020 5.2m KA Speed. Mini Motion GPS.
