Pt Grey, Alpha day, great conditions for it, had one 26.8kt alpha at 60m which doesnt count, but thats probably the one that felt like I might havktse PB'd.  Was sensational fun going for them., Felt like the fastest I've ever gone into a tight alpha gybe, hit 32.3kts across the wind on the 25.64 alpha, 32.54 on the 26.8 aplha at 60m, and 33.376kts on a 26.2kt alpha at 70m. Great feeling.  Gear Simmer 3XS 96/62, TR11 5.9m, and Pepealpha 21cm

RRD Xfire V2 102, NP RSR E6 6.4m, Nemesis 30cm.

Just another back and forth day, plenty of wind, slight adjustment to footstrap position had very positive results.

Well lit in places regularly hitting 27's in the channel with one very lively 29 through the jumble.

The nemisis fin was good out in the middle but was clumping weed if not carrying speed through the gybes.

One send towards the smooth ended sailing sidewas with a ball of weed around the fin so last time I tried that.

Lotta fun but arm is seriously protesting now.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU M95 TR7 5.9 fangy19 nice breeze and tide, couldn’t line up the gusts with my ambition. A very enjoyable sail all the same with Alby, Barry, Bob, Clayton, Guy, Joseph and too many kiters.

   Fangyland, Coodanp,  WA .

A lazy arvo on the water with the chaps. Things went well and the wind came along for yesterdays after party.

So only a short quik squirt around the top paddock on the old WT free ride with kon 5.8 and el50/20cm,

  Yep, life's good,

Fangyland with Pas, TJ, Shane plus a few others. Top Ten Fangy summer arvo on the water. .

Vintage Windtech, Avalon 6.3, FF21S

I have had the good luck to be having a play with the Avalon 6.3. Bugs dropped off the developmental version last week. This one has a more seam shaping in the mid leach to allow it to twist off and open up sooner. The top end wind strength of the sail is noticeably better and with it’s fab bottom and mid range, it’s still such a joy to use. I am really enjoying using this sail with the old Windtech and the challenge of getting the old girl to go faster.

Speaking of which, I reckon I am getting this board dialled in now and getting quite comfy for the first time ever. I am keen to have a crack at some alphas as well on this board as it happily glides along on the plane when gybing much better than I expected.

All in all a really enjoyable session today and if someone can order up some more like that I will be a very happy camper.

Nice quick sail, enjoyed it more than yesterday, more fun. Did a couple of channel crossings, some down winders and a few U turns, don't normally care about alphas cos I'm crap at them but might have scraped in a top 5.
