Clifton Beach, QLD, AU Nice sail off the beach after morning clinic.

The recent heavy rains have washed a lot of debris into the ocean so it was a case of constantly scanning for large sticks/logs/aggregations of branches/vines etc.Only got done once ...

Used the Iso 107 /RSR E 7 7m2 /Tribal SW 33.Mostly underdone but 4 sails in the last 7 days so no complaints.SmileWink

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Exocet Original it says on the board. A gift from Doc Cam, thanks cam. Fitted it with a hollow, foam filled alloy fin I made about quarter of a century ago, 330x75 dimensions, too small for the conditions which were off and on. Sailed  with the Overdrive 6.7 which was way too small. Not the  greatest sail I've  ever had but at least I built some fitness for next time.UndecidedLaughing

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU

Great arvo on the water in Mountain territory. Fantastic to see that Tinaroo is sitting on about 70% capacity - Lynn's island has just about disapeared leaving a wide open watery plain on which to sail.

A few calls made this morning between interested parties and the decision was made to head up the range. Ian arrived fashionably earlier than expected - appartently managed to ditch a shopping trip, whilst Benny arrived to a rock star entrance being fashionably late. Who'd ave thought Tongue out

First 1/2 hr was decidedly slow, but then the fronts started to crank through in various strengths and everyone got a good session in. Boxy was having a ball. Was real pleased with his efforts. Ian was Mr Composed. His light frame had him cruising around in the softer lulls and Benny was cruising around on the Tinaroo Tank and switch out when it got a bit stronger later in the arvo. Saw The Flying Dutchman and Herb who came down for a quick chin wag.

Used - 125 AHD Diamond, 8.2 Diablo, 49 S10

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU

Great fun had sailing at the dam today with Billy, Boxy & Ian.  Wind was a little light on to begin with but improved as the afternoon progessed.  Lots of squalls coming through giving decent wind patches.  Saw a few large floating logs due to the recent heavy rain but managed to navigate around them.

First sail for a month or so... took a bit to get into the swing of things.  Started off on the "Tinaroo Tank" which Billy took up with him.    Swapped over to the Futura 122 with 47.5 Black Project fin as the wind picked up.  Used the 7.8 Severne OD sail- I likey.  Thought I would have grabbed a better NM...no complaints though.

Ian looked pretty comfortable out there today- I swear he can getting planing off the draft of a fart!  Not that I'm jealous much...

Grins all round at the end of the session...  Nice PB's Boxy!

Hope the PD crew got in a good sail today.  Heading over to GI tomorrow with Kel.  Billy seemed to be keen also but I think he mentioned something about needing to do more work on his bikini line Tongue out

Well done team. Great to see so many out on the water. What was also fantastic to witness, was Benny "The Lad" McCarthy going 25 knts without his feet in the straps Surprised. Never mind the make up mate, or photo shop ....well maybe....get your paws into position and nail it. You can do it.

Nice work on the drone yesterday Ian. I'd say you have your P's. Re you lost data, im pretty confident that if you insert your card, you can transfer the information across from the GT31's internal memory. Call me if you need help.
