Glad I went back home to grab the small gear. Three days in a row and had to have a few rests. Some nice runs in behind the bank with Sean and Jayden.

Imprompu mid morning sail with Troy and 1 other out.

Wind built to a good 20kn and the 6.5s were just hanging in there.

\Port Douglas, QLD, AU..Yeah had a rather serious  late arvo 'chop hopping' session after work..Wasn't really expecting a hard session, but it was 'game on' as soon as i hit the water.. Had a big tide running very choppy sea 18 to 24 kts of breeze with some big wind shifts..Rigged no cam 7m in full lock down mode on 105 Fox 38cm fin..Has maxed out on 7m most of the time and got a bit over powered a few times out in the big pool..105 Fox took a real beating the whole session but never put a foot wrong..I really like this board its definitly the best Fox i have had, am hoping this one is gunna go the distance.. .Had to stay really hard on the wind the whole time to fight fast in coming tide..I Had a good blast but dropped one gybe in the surf break in close.Started to run out of fuel on sundown so decided to pull up a little early wasn't really in the mood for a major wipe out as the sun was going down and no fuel in the tank. I  guess it was worth rigging up for, as i haven't had a good blast for awhile. All good fun. Cheers Ed.....

Good speeds Sean, what were you sailing?

Sorry to let the squad down, left the GPS at home in the rush to the beach. As Phil said, well powered up toward the end and pushing it hard in some small but hectic chop. If I didn't have to rush back to work, I would have stayed out another half hour on the last of the tide and swapped to the Carbon art and weedspeed to go for speed. Of course thats a bit hard without a GPS.  Great fun though, put me down for 30kNts Phil. Fox 105 and std fin, Ezzy Lion 6.5
