A great day on the water with Jay and Kym. Steady 15-18knots most of the time with few decent gusts. My watch lied to me making me think I had a 32.1. 2 sec, but when I uploaded my official data, I was disappointed. I wanted to get some good k's in the legs today to get the endurance fitness up for better winds to come. After 80k's I came in, cooked up some lunch and brewed a coffee then headed out for another 40. By then the wind had swund southerly, rather than the earlier ssw, so k's came effortlessly with long runs along the southern bank. Rusty on my gybes, got my timing all wrong at the moment- something to keep working at.

el Bog. Got there, and Christian told me two guys had gone through their rigs, and I saw one of the guys with a massive hole in his middle panel. Christian said he felt a carp bump into his leg. So, decided big board, small weed fin and small rig as not to go too fast. Aiming for distance today. 115 JP SR, 29 tribal speed weed, 5.2 RB. I used that for 40km, and came in, and went up a fin and sail size, and made it to 86km. 6.3 RB, and 33 Tribal speed weed. Good session. I regret not packing my slalom board. Water level very high, but quite flat. I agree with Andy with the wind speed and directions. Good to sail with Joe. Got tips from one of the guys about carpal tunnel issue (he is also a motorcyclist). Christian, Ian Ruston, Kym, Tim, Andy. Everybody there. Had a guy lock his keys in his car, and we thought he was out, and not come back. Could not figure out why all his gear was in the car. Maybe he went for a walk ?. Anyway, that got solved. The French kitesurfers landing their kites around the cars raised some concerned eyebrows, but they knew what they were doing, and top blokes. Nigel the intermediate sailor was smashing it at the spit. Well done Andy with the distance. Everybody sailing well today.
