Was thinking it would be hard to beat the last session I had at Elwood in terms of "fun factor" but today was awesome. Great sail with Jerry and Juergen, racing each other out and back. A lot of fun. Gear felt a bit out at first but after some fine tuning it all came together.  Hopefully more of the same on Sunday!

Elwood, VIC, AU, probably one of the best sessions in the bay this season with Jerry and Evan.Great direction too. Big gear conditions for me, at times I was tempted to take the Rocket out, but kept going with the barge, it was so much fun chasing each other far out all the way close to St Kilda. Very consistent wind throughout. Elwood at it's best!!!

Great pb jerry. Mark and I with Tim, Sebastian, Richard, tony, adam, Ian and Marcus sailed at Bonno for a few hours. Must of missed Urs. bonno went of for most off the afternoon. Heaps of fun with the carve and 6.5. Some good practice for the stern chasers and the revised WV classic. I ended sailing around some the chelsea yacht race courses. I was able to keep nearly as high but with heaps more speed. Plenty of up, across and down wind runs. Tomorrow afternoon should be good too for some more practice.

Great work on the 1 hr Jerry, the barge felt very fast but couldn't keep up with you guys out there in the end.

A pity you didnt get to try the new fin Juergen. Good speeds for the barge. I honestly had trouble keeping up and pointing as high at times.

Bondy, hopefully your back in action soon. It was'nt as good a session as we are making it sound. And the water was putrid.... not feeling the best now. And Jerry forgot the beers yet again! Wink

The water Bonno was a bit brown in the morning but when wind came in it cleared up and it looked great. All clear now. The guys were out on 5.7 and Marcus on a 5m. More of frontal weather. Maybe the same if not better today.

I was only joking about the water at Elwood Steve - was jokingly trying to make Bondy feel better about not being able to sail. Was very clean. Good consistent 18 knots. Was almost tempted to do the williamstown run but jerry was having none of it - something about he thought his super sport might dissolve before making it across.

Evan I was at StKilda today in the morning with the kids club and some of the kids would not go in the water. sat might of been ok but this morning it looked bad as it did rain last night.
