Absolutely awesome day . shared most of it with Dezza and Phil then Tezza and Mark later . I luv those Norwesters and sailing through the rain squalls we had today felt  soooo good.

That’d have to be the craziest short sail I’ve ever done. Rocked up to everyone either standing around or derigging as it was so variable. Ended up heading out anyway with the 6.3 and slalom, just to get some turns. Well after 10 mins it went from nothing to off the dial NW. I got some nice turns in before it got choppy and then came in to switch to the speed board. It had really filled in by now so I just “went for it” on a crazy nauti down to Windang. I was out of harness twice during the run as I got stood up by some evil bullets. It was very choppy down the Windang end, so had to slow down for the last 300m. I pulled up and watched MT finish his similar Nauti run. The Angle was a perfect bear away for the entire run. We were both lucky to get back as it then dropped right off and turned gusty W-SW. Time to come in. All that in 40 mins!! Gun GSR 6.3, Carbon Art Slalom 59 with Tectonic 23 then Carbon Art W44 with UFO 18.

Primbee, NSW, AU    A few short runs this arvo before it became too hairy.  46kts at 3.30

The weather pole could not handle the NW to SW change still reading NW.

Rocket 95l   Cheetah 5.5  (maybe tomorrow)

Primbee, NSW, AU

What a strange day, wind from everywhere N, NE, NNW, NW, W and finally SW. I Cruised around from about 2pm on slalom kit and my 6.4 never really powered up, and then at about 3:30 with the clouds threatening the NW'r really picked up. I changed to my speed board thinking some bearaways might be on. I sailed out wide, gybed and then watched Jetlag step into the water and take off on a monster gust straight to Windang. I came in close to the launch area, gybed and chased Jetlag and his gust, bouncing in the chop all the way to Windang, spinning out half way down . Almost the same NM speeds but totally different peaks. Two very different NM runs.

6.4 Evo7, 56 and 46cm wide boards, 23 and 21cm weedies.

Primbee, NSW, AU  As MT said, a strange day with wind from NE, N, NW, W, SW and for a while after Mark left, straight S! I arrived later after Gerry, Phil, Terry etc. when it went from strong to intermiterant medium to nothing, and finally a walk back in the rain (I missed the gust that Jetlag and MT caught back from Windang - but not the strong rain front which followed. 6.4M, eventually 96L retro Drops with Terry's 21cm 'no name' fin. Great spray past Jetlag - you nearly drowned me.
