Lake George, SA, AU Another fun filled day on the Golden Lake. Eckers, Dezza & I were the guinea pigs today and headed out just after lunch. It slowly filled in and I swapped to the smaller board with 120k already under my belt. Had another crack at an hr seeing the wind was a bit stronger. Finished up down at the spit and then worked back to 5 mile to finish the day. Hands are trashed!! Gun GSR 7.1, iSonic 107 with Delta XT 24 with Carbon Art S58 with Tectonic Speed Demon 23.

Lake George, SA, AU.

Day 2.  Enjoyable but frustrating day.  Was on the 7.0 when I should have been on the 7.7, then was on the 7.7 when I should have been on the 7.0.  Started about 1:30 to a light SSE with Dezza and Jet. Same sized sail as Jet (7.0) but his bigger board and lighter weight meant he was zooming around while I schlogged for nearly an our.  Should have rigged the 7.7.  Wind filled in a bit so headed down to Kev's bay to try out the glass.  Wind not building like it should so head back to the SE end of the lake in case it died.  Struggled with on again / off again wind and marginal planing before biting the  bullet and coming in to rig the 7.7. Dezza came in a rigged bigger to.  Just on cue, as soon as we hit the water, it swung SE into a proper seabreeze direction and kicked in another 5 knots...aaargh - overpowered and slow on the 7.7 when the 7.0 would have been perfect.  Persisted with the 7.7 given how late in the day it was. Great to see Detlev nail just the right combos at every turn thisafternoon and nail a couple of PBs.  I like to think I assisted by coming in and rigging bigger to ensure the wind kicked up a notch.  Fanatic Falcon 104, MUF Delta XT 22.
