Rigged during a blast and ended up being a bit too small all day, but fun no to be struggling against the rig excessively.

Morning was strangely becalmed until wind arrived around 11. The wind was best early, but the water depth was better later. Heaps of people out and bearing away was difficult with all the kiters. Still fun none the less.

Great to catch up with everyone again, westerly season has begun. I arrived when it was still going ballistic so rigged small only to watch it drop but decided to stay with the small sail instead of re-rigging and managed to stay planing most of the time. Nice flat water to wash off all the cobwebs
