Beachport, Lake George spit, SE 18 to 28, F2 Stoke 117, 5.8 RS4 speedseeker, 30 select weedie.

first time back on the lake since early jan and the last 10 sails in the sea. on the water at 12noon and fully planing straight away and for the 7 hours I was out,, plan was to beat my pb distance of 134 and had that done by 4.30 so just kept on going to try for 200. Smile got there and pulled a few more pb's as well, the water level looks pretty sick from the 5 mile but out on the water from the spit and around the islands the weed beds are huge and the flattest i have ever seen them was doing nm runs on the weed beds, next time will sail out from cockys point on the other side of the islands, so happy with the stoke was bump and jump with a 4.2 and 5 wavesail on sat then it goes out the lake and just cranks along so easy and comfy, still running my straps inboard and single back. tracks are on ka72 under Beachport 15.2.2010.

thanks crew , and sausage I think i might have trouble trying to better my 2sec pb as i was 98k kilos when i set it, i'm now at 77 kilos after being on the caveman diet and feeling the healhiest and fittest i can remember, sail by myself nearly all the time as work shift and not many sailors left down here. was hoping choco might post as well as not many people would have been out on a monday.

Hi Jimbob,

Nice pb'sCool.  I could post some good numbers but that probably wouldn't be right cause i didn't sailWink.  It sounds like it might be worth the drive in the near future to have a sail at the ol' spitLaughing.

Hey Jamie, that's a great day on the Lake, well done, Nice set of PB's i'm sure even at your lighter weight you can still go faster !

I've moved and now live in Goolwa if you are up this way, plenty of room.

Thanks Dave, the boys have a round of the state surfing titles in a few weeks at middleton, we might need somewhere to roll out there swags. I think I will just try the next few sails to get over 35 knots, might just use the 6.7 no matter how strong it is. maybe i should try the old 15 inch wide jumpcity australia speed board, now thats an oldy.
