Tried to do distance with Pepe, but wind didn't coperate. startted tto late, was very light when it did arrive, and then it finished too early.

Never mind, we know what happens when you get excited by forecasts!!!!!

Used Pete's ancient 6.8 Avalon race sail, just love this wish he'd sell it to me, with the thommen and herby fin.

JP SS 127L, Gaastra Nitro2 10.9m, MFC 46cm

Dreove past on way home, nice liberal whitecaps, got home hooked up trailer, got down there lokked at water lokked at watch and I knew the wind killer wasn't to far away as the breeze had plumeted and the boys were chugging.

The only thing for it was to sacrifice myself for the wind to come in, so I bravely rigged the 10.9m sail plugged it onto the SS, followed the wind killers advice and put a big pionter on it to help keep the nose down a bit.

Got out hopped on hooked in and had a ball the whole time, F'ken huge sail gets going on a bees fart of breeze, still not brave enough to realy pull on the power but my goodness was that a fun session, stoked to make a few gybes with a sail the size of my shed.

Me thunks at the end of the day I may have sacrificed the boys for my funCool

7.2m hellcat, 125 rocket, 46cm mfc weedie. Went for a distance day with Decrep, arrived at 0700 and had a short blast. then the wind stopped. Not much happened then till around 1430 when the wind came in slowly, might have done better with the 7.7. Getting more comfortable with the gybes but still feel there's some footwork issues.

Hey Peps that says you have an alpha PB, what are you complaining about?!?!?!?

I only got 1 fully planning gybe all day, certainly wasn't the best of conditions for alphas.
