GPS Team Challenge - Mandurah Mob (WA, Australia)

Quick splatch at hardies with few boys.. went with the big stuff again when waiting for the wind to come in better... it died around fiveish!! had to leave early, as I was leaving, the sky open and the breeze comeback nicely.. left Elmo and Joe on the water still having fun.. hopefully getting better numbers.

Great to sail on the flat with the big stuff, more relaxing

tabou 115, 7.2m np, 40cm mfc weedie. Good session with the wind filling in later with Hards Elmo Le Sam and a few more. Tried out the 38cm liquid pro but felt better with the weedie, think the l/p was a bit small for the 7.2.

JP Slalom V 68cm, NP RSS MkII 7.2m, Elmo 17° Pointer 38cm.

Woo hoo Fianally managed to complete an hour, was still underpowered but was nice to stay on the go for the full hour, only struggled after a couple ogf gybes with little wind other than that it was great, still twitching for a bit more get up and went. Felt my gybes today were a little better with coming out of them pointing more downwind and not running so tight.

Ended the session with some runs with Hardz, nothing in it between us great fun mongrel makes me work for it on the corners

Wind was blowing quite well here after lunch with the occasional head high set coming thru, Just Slave and Max out on their kites.

Went out on the middle sized board, planed all the way out, then the wind dropped. Groveled upwind to the break, and the wind dropped a bit more, both kites went in, (not a good sign). So went in myself for a drink, 10 mins or so later wind picked up a bit.

Managed to get one great wave, even a bit of air off the lip, and several OK rides, then the wind dropped again.

Couldn't make my outside gybes, by the time I managed to waterstart the set had passed me by, so groveled my way home and finished off Matt's board. Of course then the wind came back and a couple of guys where even planing around, but I'd had enough.
