Another great day at green island, nice steady 15 to 20, clean water and no one else out.

Used 6.0 vmg and iso 96, could have rigged bigger but the wind was very east today making the east run

very choppy. Had a ball with the first trip to the island this year hopefully there will many more to comeCool

Sorry we couldn't back you up Kel.       Just too much wind at Burrum for this old bloke....I reckon the tempest hit 40 kn at times.

I rigged my smallest 5.2 and lost skin just getting rig to water....Witnessed a couple of sailors going over front and decided not to

become a stastictic, so I chickened out......Maybe ok today.

I received a call from an excited Kel telling me he was on the boat to Green Island and for me to drag my sorry old arse down to the beach. That I did although it was raining on and off which is not good for breeze up here. It was blowing 5 to 20 so I rigged up my 7.8 with the intention of grabbing a gust. Nope didn't happen, stood around for too long in my gay mesh stinger suit with the trusty Navi ticking over and over and over but the wind was gone gone bloody gone, sorry Kel Frown

Bring on Burrum Tongue out
