Checky early morning sail in a fadding southerly under the bridge at Tarren Point.

Not much to crow about!

But I was surprised by the peak speed! 1 freak gust, 2 fast runs, 5 average hurt by 3 slower runs. Big fin for the board was railing a bit in the gust, but worth it for the lulls.

A Tale of Two Winds. On the water nice and early at 8:30 for a great hour and a half on the CA58 in 20 knots, then the wind died completely. I had the car fully packed and ready to head off when the wind came back in at 15 knots, so I got back in the wet rashie & boardies, rigged the 8.5 and headed out for more. It was not awesome.

Off the water around 12:30 & have been totally cleaning out the garage. There's two boards going out for council cleanup: Damaged Caveman Slalom, & the last board I ever built (1990 wave slalom roughly 15 kgs!!)

early start for canton @ 5am got there to marginal winds 14-18 kn ... not happy really wanted to put the new weedie to the test after all the work i put in

so rigged KA7.5 on the CASP50 with the new SP weed 22 bit small granted but it seemed to handle well.

I did change to the falcon for the rest of the morning but gps case was leaking water so decided to leave it at the beach due to light winds.

headed back at 1030 shame was up for a good sail Yell

Heat 6 and final event for the NSW windsurfing series. Lots of wind from S-SE directions. Congratulations to two lap Timmy for winning the FE+ this year and of course the unbeatable Sam Parker. Big thanks to John Hurley for his massive efforts as Pres this year.

Cheers

David

Results above were mainly from the slalom session after racing which was on the Falic 111 and Evo 3 7.8. Sweet.

Results from formula racing were 2sec 25.79, 5 x 10 24.31, 1hr 11.82, NM 20.14, Alpha 15.45 and dist 45.3. Awesome fun racing on 10.7, the big JP and a sweet fin from VMG in what I think was mostly around the 20kn mark. Very tired but happy at the end of the day. Still trying to figure what a TIVO does?
