Shortish sail. Great to see my younger brother Matt out, although bit annoying that with gear 10+ year old he still managed to keep up with me & nail far more gybes. Snides had the right idea in staying dry whilst his brother went out! So great afternoon out and good to see Cheryl, Snides Snr, Snides less Snr and my "little" bro!

was this the matt i'm thinking of out on a windsurfer

sounds too good to be him Wink for some reason i pictured him to be not very good at it ?

he probably would have gone quicker today on his own windsurfer i would have thought Tongue out

anyway the 14 foot skiffs start their nationals on the river on thursday this week if anyone has developed an appetite for watching skiff racing after "perth 2011"

racing will start at 2 each day and the coarse area will be mainly in melville water west (between peli point and wally world east) with the finish in matilda bay so the best place to watch from would be from peli point

a windsurfer isn't a bad spot to watch from either but unlike the isaf worlds in freo there will be no police boats keeping you off the coarse area and on a fresh day these skiffs in most case's will not avoid you if you get in the way mostly because they can't so just letting everyone know even if you have no interest just watch out because it can get messy
