AB+67,6.2NP Saber, BPS32

Tried out the AB for the first time on the 6 inch chop and had to foot steer it off the wind, and reach back much further to get that back foot into the straps,before it would take off. After half an hour i was getting use to it but realised the Black Project speed32 was not realy suitable for reaching square and heading up as i felt i couldn't drive it hard off that fin. So i'll just save it for those flat sessions off the wind and get a 35 slalom fin from SWS. Continued sailing but felt the Sputnik woud have been faster so it might take a while to get use to it. And the day didn,t end without drama as I must have hooked up part way round  a gybe an went over the handlebars landing flat on my back and having to retrieve my gps and paqua as it came off. But that wasn,t the worst of it because the euro pin ripped the guts out of the mistral mast extension base meaning i had to swim the board and rig in against the breeze about 350 meters(that was one years exercise in 40mins) Didn,t kill me.
